How To See With The Eyes of Faith


 

   It's usually considered good eyesight, and all of us would like to have 20/20 vision to see clearly. In addition, I've discovered another 20:20 and it's in the Scriptures. It will help us to see through the lens that provides for us the best look at life and how to manage difficult times. 

   In very scary times, King Jehoshaphat of Jerusalem in Judah, said to his people, "Believe in the LORD your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper" (2 Chronicles 20:20 NKJV). In other words, "Believe in Who God is, and believe what God has said."

   In this remarkable chapter in the Hebrew Scriptures we have an example of the unity of faith. All of the people in these striking scenes encouraged one another. They fueled one another's faith.
